He recreated the Meinl logo and transferred his idea to the entire range of the Meinl brand. Julius Meinl represents Vienna coffee house culture. Drinking a Julius Meinl coffee means creating a pleasant time-out for yourself. Designer Matteo Thun created a cup with a logo of gold with an unfinished brush stroke. Looking into the cup you see 1862 the company´s founding year and the tradition of Vienna’s Coffee house in your mind’s eye.
